I have three passions in life; exploring, learning, and creating. This podcast is a sort of exercise in all three.

The study of religion in general, and reading the bible in particular, destroyed not only my Catholic faith but also my belief in any kind of divine creator. But the hole that religion left behind was soon filled with a burning curiosity to discover the origins of Judeo Christian mythology.

“And you’re listening to…”

This project began as an attempt to answer one question: Where did these stories come from?

But digging for that answer uncovered many more questions and the more I learned the more questions arose. So one question became many and the answers, or at least the closest thing scholars have to answers, are collated in these episodes.
